Spike disk missing/damagedUpdated 2 years ago
We are very sorry that your ShaktiMat product arrived faulty. This can happen, but is definitely the exception, as we at ShaktiMat place great value on quality and durability.
All our products are lovingly handmade. This means that not everything is always 100% perfect as with machine production. Of course we want you to be completely satisfied with your Shakti product.
If a spike disk has fallen off your mat or cushion, you can easily reattach it yourself.
Here is a quick guide:
Remove spike disk:
We suggest using two butter knives. Insert them on opposite sides under the disk flaps, between the fabric and the plastic. Then pull one up and the other down. This should separate the plates from each other. Be careful not to let the disk jump into your face.
To attach a new spike disk:
Insert the back part of the plate (the one without the brackets) into the cover and put it through the small hole in the fabric from below, then put the other side (with the spikes) on top. Take something thick and soft, like a rolled up sock or a tea towel, place it over the lace and press firmly until it clicks.
If you are missing a spike disk or a spike disk is damaged, please contact us at [email protected] with the "Spike Issue". We will be happy to send you a replacement disk free of charge. Just let us know your order number and the colour of the mat or cushion.
